"A simple to prepare, creamy onion dish. Originally submitted to ThanksgivingRecipe.com." INGREDIENTS: | 4 cups sliced onion 5 tablespoons butter 1 cup cream salt to taste | ground black pepper to taste 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese 2 eggs | DIRECTIONS: | 1. | Saute onions in butter or margarine until transparent. Place in 2-quart baking dish. | | 2. | In a small bowl, beat eggs well. Stir in cream, and season with salt and pepper. Pour mixture over onions, and sprinkle cheese. | | 3. | Bake, uncovered, at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes. | |
