"Apples, onions and pickles are mixed into a sugar/vinegar concoction and steeped in the refrigerator. Nice with roast port or topping a juicy hamburger." INGREDIENTS: | 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar 3 tart apples - peeled, cored | and julienned 2/3 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles | DIRECTIONS: | 1. | In a small bowl, combine sugar and vinegar. | | 2. | In a medium bowl, mix together apples, onion, and pickle.
